Wanderfolk: We The Fest 2019 Returns to Jakarta in July, Asia’s First YOTELAIR Opening at Singapore Changi Airport’s Jewel

Karma Kruise Returns for Fifth Edition this March

Following the huge success of the 500-reveller strong Karma Kruise 4.0 last year, charity minded collective Karma Klique is exchanging size for a more intimate and comfortable experience with a six-hour cruise down the Chao Praya River that spans across Bangkok’s glorious sunset hours. The heavy-hitting lineup of techno and house DJs include Tornado Wallace from Australia, Hong Kong’s Mr Ho, Manila-based Samantha Nicole, UK artist Michael Yume, and Bangkok’s own Sunju Hargun. Party goers will also get free entry to the official after party at Safe Room; folks who miss the boat enter for THB400.

Co-Living Company Hmlet Makes Australian Debut in Sydney

Newtown, Sydney

Singapore-based Hmlet is moving into its second overseas location after Hong Kong, with two co-living properties in the inner-city suburbs of Newtown and Marrickville in Sydney opening this month. Located on King Street, Hmlet @ Newtown can accommodate 20 members alongside a co-working space, a rooftop terrace, and a hospitality venue open to public later in the year while Hmlet @ Marrickville can be home to more than 70 members across six levels and an outdoor kitchen.

We The Fest Launches Phase One Lineup

Ismaya Live’s festival for all things music, fashion, food and the artsis back this July in Jakarta and they’ve just announced the first phase of their socially diverse lineup. Headliners like Atlanta-based hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, Grammy-nominated R&B icon Daniel Caesar, and 6LACK will be lighting up the main stage while those on a lookout for local acts will findone of Indonesia’s best loved bands, Cigarettes After Sex, as well as Coldiac, TULUS, and rock outfit DEWA19. The highly anticipated DJ sets feature the likes of Australian DJ Anna Lunoe, house music rising star Yaeji, and future-base connoisseur San Holo.

See Vietnam’s Halong Bay in Luxury with President Cruises

New Vietnamese cruise operator Lion Asia has launched their first of two President Cruise ships, and the 46-room luxury vessel is the largest one providing overnight accommodation on Halong Bay. Housing a piano lounge, a spa, and two large sun decks, the ship features a la carte lunch and dinner menus created by British Michelin-starred chef John Burton-Racefeaturing dishes like duck wanton broth,fillet of beef with crispy shallots and bone marrow jus, and highland pork pappardelle with rosemary cream.

First YOTELAIR in Asia Opening at Jewel Singapore this April

Officially opening its doors on 12 April 2019 at the newly built Jewel Changi Airport, Asia’s first YOTELAIR boasts 130 smartly designed cabins sleeping up to four people in the Family category, time-saving features such as the airline style self-check-in kiosks, a 24/7 gym, and their signature Club Lounge KOMYUNITI, which overlooks the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. Overnight stays in a Premium Queen cabin starts from S$140 a night and day let stays from S$80 for four hours (every additional two hours will see an increment of S$25 per room).
