Dude-Sin Food at Loof by Bjorn Shen

B.C.M Grilled Cheese

Everyone loves a great rooftop bar, and Loof has been an icon of Singapore’s nightlife over the last ten years. In ushering in the next decade of local lovin’ and good vibes, they’ve collaborated with Chef Bjorn Shen (aka the dude behind Artichoke and Bird Bird) to develop a new food menu that goes oh-so-well with Asian-influenced cockails by Lo & Behold’s Group Bar Mentor Julian Serna. You’ll find substantial plates like the B.C.M Grilled Cheese ($18) – inspired by bak chor mee and cheese toasties and bites like the Cheeseburger Yakitori ($18, think Wagyu cheeseburger on a stick) and Chilli Crab Fries ($15).

Loof is located at #03-07 Odeon Towers Extension Rooftop, 331 North Bridge Road, Singapore 188720, p. 6337 9416. Open Mon-Thu 5pm-1am, Fri-Sat 5pm-2am. Closed on Sun.

The Great Meat Feast at The Carvery

Beef lovers, you should definitely make it down to this one. From now till 22 October 2016, The Carvery has assembled a line-up of premium beef cuts for their daily dinner buffet (6.30pm-10pm). Priced at $78++ per adult on weekdays (Sun-Thu) and $88++ on weekends (Fri-Sat), diners can expect a rotating selection of beef on top of The Carvery’s usual roasts, such as grass-fed beef from Cape Grim, 500-day chocolate and grain fed Mayura full-blood wagyu, and Japanese Aomori rice beef (only available during weekends). Also look out for the buffet’s wine pairing, starting from $14++ per glass and $68++ per bottle.

The Carvery is located at Level 7, Park Hotel Alexandra, 323 Alexandra Road, Singapore 159972, p. 6828 8880.

Culinary Refresh at Gallery & Co.

Otak Otak Taco

Housed within National Gallery Singapore, Gallery & Co. (also one of our much-loved retail stores in Singapore) gets a menu revamp by Restaurant Cocotte’s Head Chef Anthony Yeoh. Focused on celebrating Singapore’s multiculturalism, museum visitors and folks who work in the area can look forward to hearty dishes like the Otak Otak Taco ($17) and Spiced Roast Chicken Leg ($17) with coriander-garlic pesto and eggplant salad. Otherwise, head down during tea-time for a slice of Ondeh-Ondeh Cake ($9.50) or Sweet Potato & Yam Tart ($7.50) with Papa Pahelta coffee.

Gallery & Co. is located at National Gallery Singapore, 1 St Andrew’s Road, Singapore 178957. Open Sun-Thu 11am-7pm, Fri-Sat 11am-10pm.
