But with Ding Dong releasing a new set lunch menu every eight weeks, you’ve more than enough reason to head back to this eclectic Asian inspired restaurant. Available 12 to 3pm on Mondays to Saturdays, the two course menu is priced at $28++, featuring dishes like Adobo Duck Rilette and Cod Loin with green curry and clams. A $10++ top up will score you desserts such as Black Sesame Brownie with mandarin sorbet, or a glass of wine.

Gattopardo’s All Sicilian Seafood Sunday Brunch

Long-time regulars of Gattopardo Ristorante di Mare will remember the epic Sunday brunches during its three-year stint at Hotel Fort Canning. Chef Lino Sauro has finally brought it to the current premises in Tanjong Pagar. Priced at $58++ for three courses, start with primo plates like Heirloom Tomato with Buffalo Mozzarella and Grilled Tiger Prawn Skewers. The myriad options for secondi and dessert include the Signature Gattopardo Sicilian Seafood Stew, Sous-vide Iberico Pork Jowl, Tiramisu, and Rhubarb Jelly with Yogurt. Simply top up $48++ for free-flow Prosecco, wines, and beer – we needn’t tell you to head down at 11.30am on the dot for maximum enjoyment.

Australian Cuisine Elevated with Stellar’s Antipodes Menu

Known for his brand of progressive Australian cuisine, Stellar at 1-Altitude’s Executive Chef Christopher Millar has recently introduced an eight-course tasting menu for the quintessential Stellar dining experience. Drawing on Chef Millar’s Australian heritage and global culinary adventures, diners can look forward to dishes like Spanner Crab Risotto and Grilled Foie Gras Terrine as well as innovative twists to Australian classics like Homemade Vegemite on Toast and Bacon & Eggs (a dessert of sheep’s milk yoghurt mousseline, bacon soil, and elderflower honey). Priced at $190++ per person, the Antipodes Menu is only available for dinner with additional wine pairing at $115++ per person.

Lion’s Mane Mushrooms with Black Pepper Sauce

Those of you with friends who are vegetarian might be familiar with Sufood, an Italian-inspired vegetarian restaurant hailing from Taiwan. Known for its thoughtful cooking techniques – so as to preserve nutritional value – Sufood’s new main courses include the flavourful Lion’s Mane Mushrooms with Black Pepper Sauce and a classic Stir-Fried Garlic Pasta (did you know garlic helps to improve iron metabolism and to fight the common cold?). The dishes are part of its seven-course menu priced at $29.80++ per person.

Priced at $49.90 (1kg, serves 8-10), Happy, Merry, Boozy! features couveture chocolate mousse topping a layer of soft, moist brandy-infused chocolate sponge.
