Sunday Folks introduces Chocolate Bars and Spring Edition Desserts

For us, a trip to Holland Village is rarely complete without visiting Sunday Folks for some sweet treats. That’s why we’re happy to hear that the homegrown dessert connoisseur has launched an assortment of items that capture the essence of springtime – including handcrafted white, milk, and dark Chocolate Slabs ($15). There are also delicious takes on the seasonal of renewal, from edible flowers and micro greens to grains that feature in new ice cream, cakes and sweets flavours. Taking centre stage: the fresh Adzuki & Madagascan Vanilla Ice Cream Trifle ($12).

Bentianna Seminario’s Stefano Trabison at The Library

If you’ve ever tried the bittersweet Bentianna herbal liqueur and liked it, don’t miss Bentianna European Brand Ambassador Stefano Trabison‘s guest bartending shift happening next Wednesday at The Library. He’ll be demonstrating the surprising versatility of the liqueur with his world-class drinks and remarkable skills for one night only – barely enough for a liqueur that has roots dating back to the 15th century when it was first created by Benedictine monks.

Stefano Trabison at The Library is happening on Wednesday, 15 February 2017, 7pm – 1am. The Library is located at 47-49 Keong Saik Rd, Singapore 089151.

Chef Tim’s Sunday Roast at PYXIEMOSS

Taking inspiration from the classic Sunday roasts that he so enjoyed during his youth, PYXIEMOSS’s Head Chef Tim Ross-Watson now presents a rendition – available on the second Sunday of every month – that pays homage to his British Indian roots. The ever-changing menu sees a selection of appetisers like Cured Salmon ($15) and Beetroot Gazpacho ($12) as well as classic roasts such as the staple Roast Beef ($30) or Piggy ($30), a luscious roasted pork belly and crackling paired with confit apple sauce. For dessert, the Eton Mess ($13) – think passionfruit puree and mint over clouds of whipped cream and vanilla bean ice cream – is a must-have.

Chef Tim’s Sunday Roast is happening on Sunday, 12 February 2017, 12pm – 3pm. PYXIEMOSS is located at 43 North Canal Rd, Singapore 059299, p. +65 6532 2171.
