The pinnacle of Singapore’s F&B industry can usually be found in one place – the annual World Gourmet Summit (WGS). Since its inception in 1997, the gastronomical mammoth has gone from strength to strength, and these folks are definitely not letting up. Culinary masterclasses, workshops, and exclusive dinners by international Michelin-starred chefs are just the tip of the iceberg, plus there’ll be exclusive WGS menus at partner restaurants. You might have to fork out top dollar for most of the events, but you’re definitely spending money on quality here.

Royal English Afternoon Tea: Hands-On Workshop with Cherish Finden
If afternoon tea is something of a staple meal for you, you’re gonna love this. Currently the Executive Pastry Chef at The Langham in London, award-winning (2012 UK Pastry Chef of the Year) Patisserie Cherish Finden, will be hosting a hands-on workshop and sharing her immense knowledge of pastry making. Her nurturing persona and open nature, plus the added air of familiarity (she’s born in Singapore), means you’ll be in good hands.

Culinary Masterclass & Luncheon at Miele with Christophe Muller
Every culinary masterclass needs a master chef, and that chef is Christophe Muller. As the Executive Chef at the L’Auberge Du Pont de Collonges of the Paul Bocuse heritage, the three Michelin-starred chef will be presenting his expertise on the art of food and wine pairing. After which, an elegant luncheon of traditional French cuisine will be served.

The Macallan Masters Of Taste Singapore, A Unique Whisky Pairing Dinner by El Celler De Can Roca & Bacchanalia
Hailing from the three Michelin-starred kitchen of El Celler De Can Roca, brothers Josep and Jordi Roca will be part of a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomical adventure at Bacchanalia. Their respective masteries of food has cemented the Catalonian restaurant’s number one standing in terms of complexity, precision, and service. They’ll be whipping up an exquisite 8-course meal alongside Bacchanalia’s Executive Chef Ivan Brehm, which will be paired with superior single malt whiskies (courtesy of Macallan).

Indulge in a classy Foie Gras themed dinner at Forlino. Heading the fancy wine & dine session is the extremely talented Chris Salans, whose Mozaic Bali landed itself in the 2014 edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Also, you get to enjoy the evening at the distinguished GlobalChef Awards – the equivalent of the Grammys in the culinary industry.

Kaluga Queen Caviar Dinner Presented by Indoguna with Snow Leopard Vodka feat. Sandro Falbo
For one of the finest culinary masterpieces in the world, head down to the luxurious environs of The Fullerton Singapore, where Italian Executive Chef Sandro Falbo will have a really special treat in store. There’ll be a whopping 1.8kg of Kaluga Queen Caviar, a full-bodied roe of the sturgeon – each individual bolus of roe will burst delightfully on your tongue, leaving your senses bewildered with the pleasure of umami.
