If there’s one explicit fact about Singaporeans, it’s that we love our food. Everyone knows that, including the government. Which is why the Singapore Tourism Board Kickstarter Fund has been injecting millions of dollars into food festivals on our little red dot – not that we’re complaining of course. From local cuisine to fine foods, and craft cocktails to exotic beers, we give you foodies 11 great food festivals in Singapore in 2015!
1) Singapore Restaurant Week
A big player in Singapore’s food festival scene, this bi-annual gourmet event has satisfied people’s stomachs for years. In 2015, there’ll be three-course meals at some of the finest restaurants in Singapore at $25-40++ for lunch and $35-55++ for dinner. Expectations are sky high for the upcoming theme in March, which is ‘Something Old, Something New – A Modern Take on Comfort Favorites’. Expect nothing but plenty of twists on homey-food and loads of nostalgia.
Singapore Restaurant Week is happening from Saturday, 14 March to Sunday, 22 March. Book your spots here from mid February.
2) Singapore Cocktail Week
Whether you’re a cocktail aficionado or you’re simply intrigued by mixology, the Singapore Cocktail Week is definitely for you. Participating bars will have their very own signature #SGCocktailWeek cocktails going at special prices for ticket holders. There’s also themed cocktail tours, cocktail workshops, and the occasion will see winners crowned at the second edition of our very own Singapore Bar Awards. What’s more, established international industry players like Nathan Beasley, Steve Schneider, and Amanda Wan will be flying in for bar-tending gigs!

3) SAVOUR 2015
SAVOUR has always been a huge draw as one of Singapore’s most diverse food festivals. I mean, seriously, where else can you have a Danish breakfast, a Spanish lunch and a French dinner? MasterChef wannabes please pay attention, because you’ll be able to learn the trade from globally renowned chefs. Other attractions include meet & greet sessions with chefs, wine demonstrations and a gourmet market with the highest quality products!
SAVOUR 2015 is from Thursday, 26 March to Sunday, 29 March at the F1 Building. Tickets will be available in early February.

4) Singapore Food Festival
Organized by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Singapore Food Festival is an annual celebration of Singapore’s unique food culture. Local fare is definitely the highlight of the festival, with every top chef in Singapore participating. What’s always been great about the Singapore Food Festival is that there are always various food stations popping up around the island. And with this year being SG50, foodies all over can expect something special in 2015!

5) World Gourmet Summit
Labelled by the Sydney Morning Herald as one of the six best gourmet events in the world, the World Gourmet Summit has no doubt placed Singapore on the world map. At this festival where food is an art form, every gourmet experience is specially designed to please the ultimate food connoisseur. Extravagant events like gourmet golfing, vintner dinners and celebrity feasts complete the line-up.

6) Ultimate Hawker Fest
Put together by the charitable folks from TOUCH Community Services, the Ultimate Hawker Fest is a fantastic platform for hawker cuisine to shine. If you have never tasted Foie Gras Rojak before, this is the event for you to be at! Apart from offering a vast array of local delights, young hawkers also have a chance to showcase their talent at the festival. And the best part is, all proceeds will be directed towards the services and programmes of TOUCH!

7) Epicurean Market
Even though its title consists of the word Market, the Epicurean Market is so much more than that. Classes from food maestros, wine tastings and even the opportunity to sniff various spices from around Asia gives this festival that extra oomph. For a scrumptious foodie escapade featuring over 50 restaurants, wineries and leading brands, the Epicurean Market is up there amongst the best there is!

8) Singapore Wine Fiesta
As Singapore’s premier wine focused festival, this epic wine feast is a wine lover’s dream come true. With hundred of bottles available, wine cognoscenti’s will be spoilt for choice when it comes to testing their tastebuds. And don’t sweat it if you’re not a wine expert, master classes by wine pros will be held to educate people about the wonders of this well-loved alcoholic beverage. 9) Beerfest Asia 2015
Salut! Gan Bei! Or simply just Cheers! The languages might be different, but the one constant is always beer. Drink yourself silly with more than 500 different variations of the world’s best loved beverage at a festival specifically catered for beer fiends. Adding to the party atmosphere is live music from international bands, comedy performances and beer auctions! Also, if you don’t drink beer, well there’s no better place really to start than here.

10) Whisky Live
We all know that the finest craftsmanship is required for an excellent spirit. At Whisky Live, superb spirits of the best workmanship will be readily available. If you’re new to the whole scene, you get to listen to talks by industry experts, and take part in masterclasses. Appreciators will get to sample rare bottles that are highly sought after, and collectors can look forward to specialised bottles from a list of established brands.
