The flagship edition of Art After Dark at Gillman Barracks returns as a highlight event of Singapore Art Week 2016, Singapore’s annual celebration of the visual arts. Here their galleries, the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) Singapore and other visual art tenants will premiere their new exhibitions and open their doors till late in celebration of Singapore Art Week.
Apart from the tenants’ exhibitions and special one-night only programming such as NTU CCA Singapore’s Residencies: OPEN; be sure to check out the launch of SINGAPORE ARTS CLUB, a month-long curated exhibition of outdoor art around the Barracks presented by the Arnoldii Arts Club, and other guest exhibitions such as SCOUT Singapore: Emerging Art Practices, M1 Fringe Festival’s Railtracks Songmaps and Andy Warhol: Social Circus.
For the live music acts of the night, expect a full line-up of Noise Singapore’s music alumni. There will also be a bumper crop of F&B pop-ups and an after party till late at Red Baron!
Art After Dark At Gillman Barracks x Singapore Art Week is happening on Friday, 22 January 2016 at Gillman Barracks from 7pm to 11pm. Admission is free. For more details, check out the event page here.
