Asian Tales Floral Display

Gardens by the Bay ushers in the Lunar New Year with ‘Asian Tales’, starting 16 January 2015. Titled “Asian Tales”, this floral showcase draws inspiration from the scenic landscape of mountains and valleys often depicted in Chinese brush paintings. Spot goats sculpted out of wood and flowers perching on the ridge and grazing in the field, as you take in the picturesque landscapes dotted with vibrant dahlias (大丽花) specially cultivated to celebrate the Year of the Goat.

‘Asian Tales’ is the first of six chapters as Gardens by the Bay embarks on a storytelling journey in 2015. This enchanting series of floral displays for the year will draw visitors into the magical world of folklore, legends, fairy tales and nursery rhymes as told through the language of plants.

The Asian Tales Floral Display is happening from Friday, 16 January to Sunday, 8 March at the Flower Dome.
