The ATTAGIRL! crew is back this time with A/K/A and Durio on the decks with one of our favourite girls, CATSONCRACK.
Expect some tasty tasty House, Tech House, UK Garage and Bass, so head down and say hi!

Since graduating from the FFF Girl DJ Bootcamp, CATSONCRACK has been spreading her gospel of good vibes for reputable brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, BLUEPRINT, Super 0 Season, and Tanjong Beach Club’s epic beach parties. The new kitten on the block is on a fast track to becoming a full-fledged feline, having made her debut at ZoukOut 2012 in the Localised Tent.

Design lecturer by day and bedroom party fiend by night, Amanda uses her spare time to draw, discover new music on Spotify, DJ, and experiment in the kitchen (especially with instant noodles.) Her love for art and music led her to the FFF Girl DJ Bootcamp, and after graduating in October 2012, A/K/A was born. Following the example of her mentors in FFF and together with her partners-in-crime in the ATTAGIRL! collective, she hopes to garner a healthy community of creative women to network and collaborate with.
Amanda has since played in various venues such as Zouk Winebar, the now defunct Broadcast HQ, Bartini, Mariko’s, Scoop, Butter Factory’s Art Bar and most recently at ZoukOut 2013 in the Localised Tent – showcasing her palette of House/UK Garage/Bass.

They say lyrics are the soul of a song, and it is the misheard lyrics of ‘Do it Again’ by Chemical Brothers that sounded like ‘Durian’ sparks off the music magic, hence the name DJ Durio. The curiosity about DJing set her off learning already then had developed into heartfelt passion. But a twist of events had made her stop, focusing on her day job instead. Yet music had never really left her, constantly finding her true self in music, then came the golden opportunity of the FFF Girl DJ Bootcamp. A blessing in form of DJ mentoring, exposure to countless music genre, culture of DJing, and the understanding of music knowledge along with constant learning and exploring is what she sees herself doing, as the stairway to being a DJ all about.
Durio spins wicked beats of kickass deep house, tech house, garage and techno that makes electronic loving bangers or crowds go insanely thumping and jamming. But she does not restrict herself to a particular genre and is ever evolving in her music game as she progresses. So love her or …… still love her!
