Other Sounds is thrilled to announce the debut Singapore performance of American singer-songwriter Bill Callahan for an exclusive, one-off performance this November at The Substation Theatre. The solo show with guitarist Matt Kinsey will be a special treat for fans as not only Bill’s first ever show in Southeast Asia, but also his only stop in the region.
After a couple of albums recorded at home in the early 90’s, Callahan began recording in studios and teamed up with potent individuals such as producer Jim O’Rourke. His output has been constant for two decades, and artists as diverse as Gil Scott-Heron, The Flaming Lips and Cat Power have recorded his songs.
Bill Callahan’s first show in Singapore will be supported by Singapore’s very own Leslie Low, who will be performing a solo acoustic set of his own body of work including songs from his latest album titled No such thing as ghosts, whose melodies, vocal phrasing, and arrangements are a tribute to the 80s Cantopop and 60’s UK and US folk music of his childhood.
Doors open: 8pm
Prices: $35 (early bird, limited quantity), $45 (standard), $55 (at the door)
Tickets are available at [Peatix](http://billcallahan.peatix.com/).
