Brahms: The Violin Sonatas

Written in the span of ten years (1878-88), these three Sonatas of Johannes Brahms display much song-like qualities and apparent camaraderie between the violin and piano. They have come to be the staple and familiar favorites of the violin and piano repertoire. Join Singaporean pianist Lim Yan and violinist Lee Shi Mei in this Brahmsian reverie.

This recital is made possible with the kind support of the National Arts Council and Arts Fund.

‘Brahms: The Violin Sonatas is happening on Saturday, 3 January at the Esplanade Recital Studio.
