Fail Film Festival – So Bad It’s Good!

This October will see the premiere of the Fail Film Festival in Singapore, with local indie cinema The Projector screening the Sharknado Trilogy over two weekends. Launched by a group of schlock enthusiasts, the festival celebrates B-grade films that were met with criticism and rotten tomatoes upon their release, but have since gone on to attain cult status with appreciative audiences. The Fail Film Festival explores the concept of failure through critically-panned cult films that entertain despite numerous flaws.

Audiences are invited to come with an open mind and an open mouth, as the Festival is encouraging a no- holds-barred, riff-all-you-want attitude at every screening. Let the shark snark run free! Let everyone know exactly what you think about shark-based meteorological phenomenon! There are also many prizes to be won during the post-screening quiz – you’re going to need a bigger boat.

Fail Film Festival will be happening through two week on 17 October (Sharknado), 23 October (Sharknado 2), and 24 October (Sharknado 3) at The Projector. Check out the Fail Film Festival website here for more details.
