Noise Singapore, Tact Space and Good Times are proud to present FOR RAILS, a party on the railway featuring Singapore’s finest illustrators, visual projection artists and DJs. This October 17 brings on an electrifying local showcase at a location like no other.
From 3pm till late, the event will feature some of Singapore’s top underground talents
While the sun’s up, illustrators Efoe, Aeropalmics, Kristal Melson and Sha Rul will be working their magic on large panels facing the DJ stage. The panels will feature wheat pastings by OBEY, and the four artists will be reacting to them with paints and other mediums.
At the same time, artist Giada Tagliamonte will be conducting a open community workshop to create up- cycled pieces via paint and wooden crates in the hopes of spurring greater interaction between art and the public.
Once it’s dark, video projection artists Empyreal and Race Krehel will be projecting live art on both sides of the Rail Corridor’s walls. This all happens against a backdrop of bass and beats from nine DJs, including veterans like Kiat from the audio-visual art collective Syndicate and emerging young talents like Fzpz from record label Phyla Digital.
FOR RAILS is happening on Saturday, 17 October 2015 at the Rail Corridor Art Space from 3pm till late. Admission is free. Check out the Facebook event page here for more details.
