Put deadly fungi, black birds, a ‘retired’ mascot in the same play and what do you get? Set in an alternate timeline, an epidemic reaches Singapore’s shores. Infected and trapped in his own body, Damien Pang is forced to face ghosts of his past. Around him, other ghosts and citizens scramble in the aftermath of their actions, attempting to reconcile with the changes that have crept through their country.
INVASION seeks to reveal the unstable nature of pieces that make up our personal identities. It is about the struggle to find footing in a place that’s always changing. It is about the things that move in, through, and out of our lives.
This event is happening on Friday, 13 February at the Drama Centre Black Box.
