The Israel Film Festival team has hand-picked 6 critically acclaimed films to be showcased at this year’s edition of the festival. Most of these films are woman-centric, examining the struggles of women from different aspects of life in Israel and around the world. These films highlight woman’s role in various facets of life, be it in the army, relationships, or just empowering herself in today’s world.
The Opening film for this year’s festival is ‘Zero Motivation’ directed by Tayla Lavie. Zero Motivation is a dark comedy portraying the power struggles of three female secretaries at a remote army base in the Israeli desert. Director Tayla Lavie will host a post-screening discussion! The other films showcased at the festival are:
