Kimono Kollab

Kimono Kollab is back with the introduction of many new exciting designers. This second round of Kimono Kollab is more energetic, more vibrant, and definitely funkier. Apart from showcasing their creativity, the local designers are up-cycling with a purpose; to breathe new life to vintage and pre-owned kimonos, otherwise destined for destruction.

Kimono Kollab is a project conceived by Noriko Collins. Noriko was moved by the plight of unwanted kimonos still in good condition save for a tiny tear or stain. And she was aghast that they were being callously disposed of in the hundreds and thousands every year in her native Japan.
