Come this May, Duxton Hill will be welcoming the first international outpost of one of London’s best burger institutions – MEATliquor. Having placed in the Top 100 Restaurants at the National Restaurant Awards in the UK for 3 years running, the opening of MEATliquor SINgapore will definitely spice up Singapore’s flourishing restaurant scene.
This ain’t no franchise either. The venture sees MEATliquor founders Yianni Papoutsis and Scott Collins, (recently ranked amongst the top 5 of the Debrett 500 most influential people in Britain) teaming up with Ben Jones, the man behind Oxwell & Co. and Operation Dagger.
Falling in line with the concept of ‘rough and ready’ messy meat dishes and killer cocktails, this carnivores’ playground will feature the inclusion of MEATliquor’s iconic dishes such as The Dead Hippie, Dirty Chicken Burger, Deep-fried pickles and even the legendary lager-topped margarita, the Lagerita. We also heard there’ll be some very interesting Singapore-centric signatures to look out for on the menu – local pride for the win!
