How often do you cross paths with a migrant worker? On this tiny island we call home, we share the same living space but do we also see the same things? What determines our experience of the city?
The exhibition features a selection of photographs taken by South Asian workers and Singaporeans of life in Singapore, and we invite you to consider the above questions.
This is a round-up for the project we have embarked on with Aishah and Wajihah Hamid since January. We first rallied the online community to chip in to our project by contributing disposable cameras. With these cameras, we organised an excursion for 18 migrant workers and 13 local participants, and a get-together session to view their works. The exhibition is the result of the earlier sessions.
