Portraiture Photography Weekend Courses
Draw inspiration from Annie Leibovitz’s work, and get a better understanding of the different techniques and approaches to capturing the perfect portrait through two-day photography courses.

Suitable for beginner and amateur photographers, four course subjects are available:
1. Portrait Photography using available lighting and artificial lighting (14 and 15 June, 13 and 14 September)
2. Candid and formal portrait photography (28 and 29 June, 27 and 28 September)
3. On location styling (lighting, make-up, styling, posing) (16 and 17 August)
4. Documentary portraiture (informal photography in settings) (12 and 13 July, 18 and 19 October)

Each session includes a practical workshop with photo critique, a theory class and a facilitated discussion while viewing the works of Annie Leibovitz.

Instructor
The courses will be conducted by Steven Yee, a trainer with Knowledge Bowl Training and Consultancy. Steven is currently an Associate Faculty Lecturer at SIM University and a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.

Requirements:
Interested participants are required to bring their own DSLR or Mirrorless system and should have basic photography skills.
