Postal Code: Stories

Welcome to Postal Code: Stories, an interactive storytelling session that revolves around the idea of postal codes. My new collection of poems, Postal Code, is about experiences in various locales of our lives and in this session, I am inviting the audience to bring their own stories from their own postal codes.

The session is divided into five broad areas, which follows the division of poems in the book.

1) Society

2) Faith

3) Love

4) Loss

5) Endings

Each person will have two minutes to share, with a maximum of 20 readers. Your title can be your postal code, further location information is optional. This is storytelling by numbers, a scoop under the surface of our multiform lives.

If you’re coming, please bring a story based on one of the themes. I look forward to seeing you all there, it’s free! And those who attend will have a chance to purchase my book at a very special price.

12th April

5pm – 6pm
