Singapore International Photography Festival 2014

As the largest international photo festival held in Southeast Asia, this biennial festival strives to be the much needed platform for critical thought and academic discussion on photography in the region. Its mission is to discover, nurture and propel new Southeast Asian talents to prominence and onto the international stage. On top of that, SIPF also aim to promote audience development through a slew of outreach programmes that will take photography to the man on-the-street.

SIPF is a volunteer-driven event organised by an independent non-profit committee. All proceeds will be channelled to fund activities organised by the festival.

When not writing about lifestyle and culture, he dabbles in photography, graphic design, plays four instruments and is a professional wearer of bowties. His greatest weakness: spending more money on clothes than he probably should. Find him across the social world as @grimlay
