Something Old Something New: Singapore Restaurant Week’s Tenth Edition this March

Hands up if you want March to arrive already! There’s the inaugural Singapore Cocktail Week, Savour 2015, Future Music Festival Asia 2015, AND our favourite bi-annual foodie event organized by online restaurant guide DiningCity, Singapore Restaurant Week.

Not familiar with the concept? Well, for nine days in March, more than 100 restaurants will be offering three-course meals starting from $25++ for lunch and $35++ for dinner (there’s an additional supplement of $15++ and $20++ for lunch and dinner at restaurants that are awarded with the DiningCity Star).

Garibaldi

A Modern Take on Comfort Favourites

In celebration of its 10th edition and Singapore’s 50th birthday, the theme for this upcoming Restaurant Week is Something Old, Something New. So, guests can expect to see a remixed version of their childhood and traditional comfort foods on the Restaurant Week menus of the participating restaurants.

The Illustrious ‘Old’

Regular attendees of Singapore Restaurant Week will see their favourite restaurants – like Absinthe, Garibaldi, Stellar at 1-Altitude, and Brasserie Les Saveurs – returning for this edition. If you’re new to the game, these bigger name restaurants get booked out super fast so it’s best to ‘chope’ your spots as soon as possible!

Lewin Terrace

The Celebrated ‘New’

The thing we love about Restaurant Week is that they constantly have new restaurants on the list for us to try, especially if it’s an upscale establishment we’re not quite sure about yet. This time, the list of new restaurants include the gorgeous Lewin Terrace (see our full review here), the famed Salt Grill’s sister restaurant Salt Tapas & Bar, and new Italian hotspot Pizza Fabbrica.

American Express Card Exclusive

American Express cardholders, you’ll stand a chance to win a 3D2N stay for two at Capella Singapore worth $2, 627 when you use your card at the participating restaurants during this edition of Singapore Restaurant Week. Each transaction puts your name in the draw once.

Oh, and we’ll also be reviewing some Restaurant Week menus in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled for ’em!

Reservations can be made online here from 16 February for American Express Card members, 21 February for subscribers to DiningCity.SG’s newsletter, and 23 February for the public.
