It was in the middle of last year that us Nomads started to get better acquainted with high quality Tequila and Mezcal. We enjoyed them so much that our Chief Nomad ended up writing an ode to good Tequila and Mezcal in Singapore: .
In the spirt of spreading the word that Tequila and Mezcal are noble spirits well worthy of your regular consumption, not just as a shot to knock back in a club, we have organised a very special evening, dedicated to quality spirits, some yummy Mexican food, and a bit of education for good measure.
Starting out with a classic Margarita and your choice of main course at Hombre (Tacos set, Burrito or Salad-bowl), industry specialist Timothy Barnes will then guide you through a tasting of 3 Tequilas from the exceptional distillery **OCHO** – a Joven, a Reposado and an Añejo. Finally, you will taste one of Mexico’s funkiest Mezcal, **Vida** from **Del Maguey**.
This will be a very casual tasting, taking place along the beautiful riverside of Boat Quay.
