Humpback Launches Sous Chef Sundays with Butcher Boy

Taste the flavours of a new restaurant every month with Humpback’s newest initiative Sous Chef Sunday. This weekend will see Peter Lim from Butcher Boy preparing a line of Asian-inspired delicacies that the Keong Saik Road restaurant is known for. Enjoy bursts of freshness with Oysters with a Vietnamese dressing and Hamachi Sashimi with creme fraiche and a dash of ginger ponzu. For larger plates, sink your teeth into juicy Chicken & Prawn Dumplings or switch up your palate with the crunch from Singapore Fried Fish dressed in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce.

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove Invites You to a Barbecue Wonderland

Come dressed in your stretchiest pants to feast on W Singapore’s new Saturday BBQ Sizzle (S$80++ per adult, S$38++ per child) at the kitchen table. Inspired by South American barbecue, their Live Carving station features Crispy Pork Belly, Slow-cooked Beef Brisket and Roasted Provoleta that will leave mouths watering. Also rising up from the flames is their Grilled Iberico Pork Secreto, known as the wagyu for pork, and Whole Red Snapper. After tucking into prime cuts and fresh catches, drift happily off into a food coma with Cookie & Ice-cream Sandwiches and Almond Tres Leche Cake.

The Masses Commemorates Culinary Journey with Menu 10.0

The Masses celebrates their coming-of-age with the launch of their latest menu of French classics with a Southeast Asian flair. Menu 10.0 highlights gorgeous marriages of both elements in the Artichoke Barigoule (S$29.90), a creamy German kipfler potato and tofu stew, and pan-seared Threadfin (S$23.90) served with classic bergamot and lush XO sauce. The star of the menu, undoubtedly, is the Maine Lobster (S$39.90) in a shellfish cream with cognac and tomato that leaves seafood lovers quaking. The Masses’ Chef Dylan Ong will also be launching omakase service (S$100++ per pax) starting with a degustation of Menu 10.0’s hot favourites.

Popular hawker stall China Whampoa Homemade Noodles has partnered up with modern classic Revamp Cocktail Bar to offer patrons local dishes in a chic bar setting. Try The Fire Breathing Dragon (S$29.90), a potent union of fresh seafood and flaming brandy in traditional ban mian, exclusively available at Revamp Cocktail Bar created to celebrate the partnership. Best-sellers to look forward to include Tom Yum Homemade You Mee (S$18.80) and Abalone Mee Hoon Kwey (S$18.80).

15 Stamford by Alvin Leung’s New Street Food Inspired Menu

Michelin-starred Chef Alvin Leung unveils a new menu created with his signature Asian-inspired flavours. Seafood-centric starters like Greenland Shrimp (S$28) is bursting with umami and texture while the silky smooth 5/4/1 Mashed Ratte Potato (S$12) is accented with the earthy brine of salted fish floss. Bold local infusions include the Pork Prime Rib “Bak Kut Teh” (S$38) with compressed watermelon, angelica, barbecue sauce, and the decadent Foie Gras Kaya Toast (S$22). For bonnes bouches, the light creaminess of the Pandan Soufflé (S$22) served alongside pistachio biscotti and palm sugar ice cream will please even those who aren’t usual fans of sweets.
