Catch Crane’s Screening of Afterimages
Watching a horror movie for Halloween is almost an annual ritual, and this year, Crane has got you covered. As part of the space’s 2021 Halloween lineup, Afterimages is one harrowing film about a group of thrill-seeking film students who summon ghosts during the Hungry Ghost Festival in Singapore. Winner of Best Feature Film at the Eerie Horror Film Festival in 2014, the spine-chiller kicks off with a session with director and producer Tony Kern.
Afterimages will be screened at Crane, located at #01-06, 46 Kim Yam Road, Herencia, Singapore 239351, on 31 October 2021 at 7pm. Priced at $22 per person, tickets are available here.
Halloween At The Museum: No Tricks, Just Treats
Trick-or-treating just got a whole lot exciting this year with unlimited ice-cream and “spooktacular” treats. The Museum of Ice Cream is switching things up by refashioning its 14 installations, to align itself with the spooky season festivities. Whether it’s the iconic Cruella wig or the terrifying Squid Game jumpsuit, deck yourselves in all the latest Halloween costumes and head down to Dempsey to experience Halloween at The Museum.
Halloween at The Museum will take place at the Museum of Ice Cream located at 100 Loewen Road, Singapore 248837, 28-31 October 2021, 10am – 10.30pm daily.
An A-game with Murder At Old Changi Hospital
The folks behind Asia’s first virtual escape room promise you an adrenaline pumping Halloween with Murder at Old Changi Hospital. Their virtual horror-mystery escape room boasts augmented reality interactions and spatial audio surround sound that’ll transport you to the hospital, notorious for being haunted. It’s up to you – the audience – to navigate the premises, solve puzzles, gather clues, complete devil traps and occasionally venture into the past through 360° flashback footages, to get to the bottom of things.
Murder At Old Changi Hospital’s virtual escape room runs Fri-Sun, 8 October – 7 November 2021, at 8.30pm and 10pm. Tickets to the virtual escape room experience are priced for group access on one device, and available from S$45 here.

USS Halloween Horror Nights Returns
Halloween Horror Nights returns this year as an exhibition this year, and the notorious creators of horrors promise that things are still going to be thrilling for After Dark ticket holders. There won’t be any haunted houses or scare zones this year – yet another thing to thank COVID for – but wander behind the scenes of creating Singapore’s most popular Halloween affair for the past nine years. Also featured are nine hair-raising monsters and the most iconic gruesome moments in the past nine years. Select rides will be available.

Spooky Spray Nights at Heavenspot
Local graffiti art studio Heavenspot is transforming itself into a massive, scary spray house this Halloween. Spooky Spray Nights is exclusively dedicated to setting free the five-year-old in you. Get reckless and wild out by spray painting neon colours on blacked-out walls and watching all your neon creations come to life. Throw in a couple of UV light sticks and a funky Halloween costume and you’re all set.

SuperSpook Halloween Themed Nights
Superpark, Singapore’s largest indoor activity park, is raising the bar by transforming their space into themed zones. At their SuperSpook Halloween Themed Nights, choose to explore the British Occupation-inspired Horror Maze or take your thrill-seeking heart on a ride through the Devil’s Bend. But whatever you do, proceed with caution at the Haunted Playground, for what happens at the “abandoned playground that was once a burial site” is not at all for the weak-hearted.
