One of the pioneers of Mod Sin cuisine in Singapore, Shen Tan has previously helmed the kitchen at Wok & Barrel and Ujong at Raffles Hotel and now, specialises in custom events as the Culinary Director of Gastrogig. Opt for the Makan for 4 (S$88) package that comes with Nasi Lemak, her signature Crispy Chicken or Pork Belly, Rendang, Sambal Vegetables and divine desserts like Double Valrhona Fudge Cake, Pulut Hitam Cake and Gula Melaka Butterscotch.

Jack Daniel Goes Luxe With A New Collection

The top-selling American whiskey in the world is going luxe with its first Craft & Luxury Collection. This exquisite collection is made up of exciting expressions from the Single Barrel Collection (from S$112, 750ml), as well as Jack Daniel’s No.27 Gold (S$140, 700ml) – twice charcoal mellowed and finished in maple barrels – and oaky Sinatra Select (S$250, 1000ml), crafted in honour of Frank Sinatra himself. Along with this special collection, Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s parent company) has also launched its LazMall Flagship Store where these bottles will be available for purchase.

Basilico Celebrates Its 12th Anniversary With a Bestseller Menu

In commemoration of Basilico’s 12th year at Regent Singapore, Executive Chef Angelo Ciccone has curated a Best of the Best (S$65++ per adult for lunch, S$80++ per adult for dinner; inclusive of antipasti, cheese, dessert) menu that pays homage to 12 of the restaurant’s most-loved creations over the years. Tuck into masterpieces like Angelo’s Three-Cheese Norcia Truffle Mascarpone Focaccia and Head Chef Beccalli’s enticing Wagyu Beef Lasagne with Fontina Cheese Fondue. The celebrations will culminate on 24 July with a special four-course Puglia Wine Dinner (S$98++ per adult) featuring specialities of the Salento Peninsula – Gallipoli red prawns, salted anchovies and orechiette cooked with broccoli rabe.

Goodwood Park Hotel Commemorates Its 120-Year Legacy

Celebrate Goodwood Park Hotel’s 120th year with The Best of Chef Chan’s Signatures at Min Jiang. In line with the hotel’s celebration of their anniversary every 10 years, the a la carte menu will showcase 10 Cantonese and Sichuan fan-favourites from the past decade along with new moreish creations like the Pan-seared Hokkaido Scallop with XO Sauce (S$16++ per portion). Back by popular demand, the Mongolian Chicken with Almond  Flakes (S$44++ for whole chicken) is made by deftly deep frying the chicken and almond flakes till fragrant and crisp before enhancing it with sauteed aromatics.

As Min Jiang is undergoing refurbishment, this special menu is available for dine-in at Goodwood Park Hotel’s Tudor Courtyard in addition to takeaway and delivery until 20 September 2020.

Zouk Group Launches Capital Kitchen

Get ready to return to Zouk – not to party, but to pig out on gourmet dishes. Singapore’s pioneer clubbing institution is transforming its premium lounge space into a unique pop-up dining concept until partying is allowed again. Expect a variety of Asian and Western dishes like the Signature Battered Fish & Chips (S$27++) and Signature Royal Broth Congee (S$15++) alongside a selection of sake, wines, and bottled cocktails by Zouk such as Milo Gao (S$60++, 500ml) and tangy Asam Guava (S$60++). Capital Kitchen has also partnered up with home bakery, Paparch for its decadent Burnt Cheesecake (S$15++) and with Five Guys for their glorious Burgers (S$28++) as an added delivery option.
