Just Opened July 2020: New Restaurants and Bars in Singapore This Month

Phase 2 is here and things are finally starting to look up for the F&B industry. Even as the past few months have seen several restaurants bid adieu, but new faces are still trickling in. At the same time, a different kind of restaurant space is popping up all over the country – virtual restaurants – to cater to consumers that prefer delivery over eating out. From Brooklyn’s famed pizzeria to a virtual Italian restaurant, here are the new additions to check out whether you are out and about or staying at home:

Welcoming Phase 2 with a refreshed menu is Allium, an eco-conscious restaurant by Chef Dillon of now-defunct Gastrosmiths. Their new seafood-focused Prix Fixe Dinner (S$138/pax) menu will showcase local Singaporean flavours through unique interpretations such as Signature Red Prawn Noodles laced with bunga kantan spice, Yellowtail Yu Sheng Ceviche and more. Keeping with the theme of sustainability, the nine-course tasting menu mainly utilises locally cultivated veggies alongside a combination of Japanese and local seafood.
