Remoissenet Père & Fils Burgundy Wine Dinner with Winemaker Bernard Repolt

This one-night-only event will feature Burgundy wines from winery Remoissenet Pére & Fils. That night’s selection will be paired with the finest traditional Burgundian dishes by Le Bistrot du Sommelier’s Chef Brandon Foo, such as the ‘Le Biscuit d’escargot, légumes racines au jus acidulée’ (Escargot biscuit served with root vegetable and chicken juice) and ‘Le Canard de Challan en deux Cuissons'(Oven roasted Challan duck, his leg confit served with roasted autumn fruit, chestnut mash and rhubarb dill sauce).

Founded in Burgundy in 1877, Remoissenet Pére & Fils is one of the most venerable wine producers of the region. When Roland Remoissenet decided to retire from running the winery, it was taken over in 2005 by a group of investors which included Maison Louis Jadot. The estate, which has long been famous for its glorious cellar of historic wines, has experienced a renaissance in recent years under veteran winemaker Bernard Repolt.

Remoissenet Père & Fils Burgundy Wine Dinner with Winemaker Bernard Repolt will be happening on Saturday, 24 October 2015 at Le Bistrot du Sommelier at 7pm. Dinner is priced at $138++. Please call 6333 1982 for reservations.
