Michaelis cultivated a deep appreciation of music at a very early age when he began deconstructing the sounds of iconic groups such as the Beastie Boys and Metallica. In his teenage years, he was introduced to the rave scene and was fascinated by the DJ/Producer culture. He took to studying these artists and paired this new found knowledge with his natural talent for understanding beats to master this art form. His animalistic hunger for perfection in mixing, impeccable scratching, and true passion for precision quickly gained him worldwide acclaim throughout the DJ scene as he began to secure residencies in Europe, Israel and Russia.
Currently, Michaelis holds big room residencies in cities across the world at premier nightlife venues like Supperclub Hollywood, Lure Hollywood, XIV Hollywood, Chateau Las Vegas, American Junkie Chicago, Cocoon, Jenja, and La Favella Indonesia. He is championed by the likes of will.i.am, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Ty$, The Weekend, Skrillex, Sage the Gemini, Ludacris, Dirty Vegas, Blackstreet, Cher, Elton John and Aerosmith etc. and has performed at events for Vogue, Elle, Neiman Marcus, and Puma. Recently, Michaelis embarked in a collaborative project with NASCAR producing original music and performing at their top races.
Michaelis is also a beatport/iTunes charting producer in the genres of trap, progressive house and deep house.
