Sunda Festival has announced the first wave of artists on its all-regional lineup, featuring acts like Kuniyuki (JP), Munir (ID), Mantravine (SG), Wax’o Paradiso (AU) and much more.
Representing a new breed of festival for the Singapore scene, Sunda Festival is a collaboration between surging local events collective, Ice Cream Sundays, and Florian Melinette, Hong Kong-based founder of FuFu Creative and co-founder of Shi Fu Miz Festival. Held across two days and three stages, the festival will feature the region’s best DJs, live bands and electronic acts, and visual creatives, while offering on-site camping and a range of all-ages workshops and activities for the whole family. The vision? To shine a spotlight on talent within Asia-Pacific and to serve as a breeding ground for intra-regional collaboration and community building.
With the first lineup announcement, the festival has revealed a star-studded mix of DJs and live acts from across Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia, Japan, and of course, Singapore. Local heroes like Darker Than Wax’s Dean Chew and Kaye will join Japanese electronic music pioneer Kuniyuki, rising selectors Munir (ID) and Di Linh (VN), and Thai live performer Chalo, among many others, for an eclectic lineup that represents the thriving talent within Asia-Pacific. Expect more exciting acts to join the fray when Sunda Festival drops the second half of its lineup.
Sunda Festival will be held from September 30th to October 1st at Sarimbun Scout Camp.
