This year over 70 galleries will be offering a diverse range of contemporary art. Be inspired by artwork from various galleries from all over the world and see which artist appeals to your artistic taste. Choose from a wide variety of artwork, which includes paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs without burning a hole in your wallet. Artworks are all priced between SG $100 to SG $10,000 with 75% of the art displayed under SG $7,500 and the clear labeling of all artwork ensures you know what you can afford!
Whether you are a young professional on the hunt for your first piece of art, a seasoned collector out to spot emerging artists who have the potential to be ‘the next big thing’, a student seeking inspiration, or a family looking for a fun day out, we have something for everyone to do and see. Catch up with friends over lunch or a glass of wine; leave the kids at the free Children’s Art Studio; watch a live art demo; attend free art tours and be inspired to start your own art collection.
Throughout the event, there will be free tours and quirky interactive artist studios, these educational features are great for anyone who wants to gain more knowledge about the emerging Singapore art scene, and even to inspire the artist inside of you! If you are interested in unique artworks at affordable prices, then our specially curated SG50 Feature Wall is for you! Showcasing 50 artists all showing works for $500 each, this SG50 celebratory feature is perfect for those on a budget and the best part; 50% of all the monies raised goes back to our Fundraising Partner, Playeum.
The Affordable Art Fair was established in London in 1999 by Will Ramsay with the main aim of providing a fun and exciting platform for people to gain access, increase their knowledge, fall in love with and buy art.
Today, the Affordable Art Fair has become something of a global phenomenon with 17 fairs happening in 11 countries annually, including Amsterdam, Bristol, Brussels, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Maastricht, Milan, New York, Singapore, Stockholm, sister fair ‘Love Art’ in Toronto, and Seoul which will be launched in September this year. Over the past 16 years, more than 1.6 million people have visited an Affordable Art Fair and art sales exceed £235 million (over S$480 million) globally.
The Affordable Art Fair is happening from Friday, 17 April to Sunday, 19 April at the F1 Pit Building.
