All You Need to Know about Marina Bay Sands Epicurean Market 2015

A culinary juggernaut of gastronomic proportions, Marina Bay Sand’s Epicurean Market is back for the third year running. From 14 to 16 August, try food from celebrity restaurants, sample the finest wines and spirits, and check out the organically-driven Farmer’s Market for the freshest produce!
And if you always thought the festival ends way too early each day – we’ve good news. The folks behind Epicurean Market are introducing the After-Party series this year. From 9pm to 1 am on the first two days of the festival, the festival grounds will be transformed into a nightspot where guests can linger and party to tunes by international DJs and enjoy handcrafted cocktails.
Here’s what else to expect from the three-day food fiesta:
Celebrity Restaurant Booths
Slurp up freshly-shucked oysters from db Bistro & Oyster Bar, try out hearty English signatures from Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen, and catch the exciting preview of American restaurateur Wolfgang Puck’s latest addition to Marina Bay Sands – Spago. Other headliners include Adrift (David Myer), CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Long Chim (David Thompson), Waku Ghin (Tetsuya Wakuda), Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza (Nancy Silverton), and Sky on 57 (Justin Quek). On top of witnessing these celebrity chefs in action, there’ll be a variety of masterclasses held by respected industry experts, giving visitors a chance to pick up a tip or two for their kitchen. Farmer’s Market
Browse through a plethora of organic goods and quality artisanal products and sample fresh produce at the Farmer’s Market. After stocking up on food, visitors can also speak with food specialists for home-cooking tips and various recipes. One of the highlights is definitely the gourmet cheese section – rare European cheeses such as the VSOP Gouda from Netherlands are available for sampling as well. Another heavyweight in this section is Epicerie Boulud, a pop-up of Chef Daniel Boulud’s popular gourmet shop in New York. Guests can look forward to house-made charcuterie alongside freshly baked breads and pastries.
Fine Spirits, Wines, and Premium Coffee
Vino aficionados will have a ball of a time at the Wine Zone, where 30 established wine suppliers including KOT Selections, The Oak Cellars, Monopole, Enoteca, Excaliber Wines, Unique Wines, and Wine Culture will present rare wines sourced from across the globe. Spirit enthusiasts can also look forward to a pop-up bar and whisky lounge by Diageo. Operated by award-winning mixologist Steve Leong, the bar will offer a spectrum of classy cocktails and mixology workshops. Christoph Nyfeler, founding partner of Whisky World, will also be holding a series of whisky appreciation mini-workshops for whisky connoisseurs. Meanwhile, coffee lovers can sip premium coffee at the Nespresso Bar.
