There’s a new arts venue in town, and it’s from Collective Minds, the same events agency that organised some of Singapore’s biggest parties and brought down star acts like Rex Orange County, Yung Bae, Jaden Smith, and Toro y Moi. So really, to have their very own space makes a lot of business sense. For this venture, they’ve partnered with production gurus Ebenex to create a space like no other.
222 Arts Club is a forward-thinking multi-faceted venue in the heart of the city’s art district — that is, within walking distance from landmarks like Singapore Art Museum, NAFA, and Stamford Arts Centre in Bras Basah. At a sizeable 5,000 sq ft, it’s the ultimate blank canvas for all sorts of events: exclusive private parties, conferences, art exhibitions, gigs, product launches, photoshoots, and what not.
For now, we’re expecting it to host a good number of Collective Minds events, and if the music-packed launch party last month was any indication, the facilities and acoustics here are something else. 222 Arts Club has a very attractive hire package too. The venue is fully equipped with state of the art sound and lighting, with an on-site tech team and super fast WiFi thrown in. The space can also be tailored to conference specifications, be it a theatre-style setup or a number of separate areas for breakouts.
The point is to offer a unique and creative environment for brands of all backgrounds to produce something special. Primarily, Collective Minds want to help local artists and musicians facilitate and springboard their careers, and they’ll be working closely with communities such as The Foundation to showcase homegrown talent on a global stage.
As stated on 222 Arts Club’s website, “The arts, music and culture have the power to enrich the creative scene. Our mission is to support the arts community to achieve our vision for the city being a diverse and distinctive arts hub that can inspire, connect and position Singapore globally.”
222 Arts Club is located at 222 Queen St, Singapore 188550, p. +65 8434 0259.
