As one the most important tastemakers Europe has to offer, and affiliated with labels Brownswood, BlueNote, !K7Records, Stones Throw and Jazzy Sport, this bearded early riser is consistently a couple steps ahead of your average early adopter. [LeFtO](https://soundcloud.com/lefto) doesn’t wait for the next thing to land on his lap, actively seeking it out-just take a peek at his playlists on Belgium’s foremost national radio station Studio Brussel which received compliments from Rough Trade Shops and Gilles Peterson.
World renowned, LeFtO regularly blesses sound systems from Tokyo to Seoul and Singapore to New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He has been a resident deejay for Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festivals since 2008 around the world. Camera under the arm, he is also one of the few deejays on this planet who can deejay somewhere and have a nice movie on the internet a couple hours later, with over 250 videos on YouTube and Vimeo, it’s very impressive.

KYODAI
[Kyodai](https://soundcloud.com/kyodai) means ‘brothers’ in Japanese and that’s a good clue for guessing who`s behind these two heads.
The producers based in Berlin are known under a variety of different names! A duo that gained respect from musical heavy weights like Masters At Work, Jimpster, Gilles Peterson, Rainer Trüby, and they regularly release under a variety of different names for labels such as Compost, Odori, Om, Lovemonk. Kyodai have had a strong run of releases since their debut here on Freerange Records last year. Their ‘Mi Rumba EP’ must have impressed a lot of people as they went on to release a follow up EP for Mad Mats blossoming Local Talk label with ‘Breaking EP’, supported by top names, until reaching the top list of the Gilles Peterson’s ‘An All Winners Show’, and also have an EP due on Pokerflat called ‘Never Know’. Kerri Chandler dug it enough to include on his RA podcast and it was also picked up for the Cielo Compilation on Nervous, resulting in many requests for remixes and productions that are already due to be released this fall.
The event will take place on 19 June from 9pm onwards at club kyo.
Admission is $20 for ladies, $25 for men (incl.1drink). RSVP for complimentary entry before 11.30pm [here](https://rsvpd.co/g/kyo15_junewk3).
