SINGAPORE WRITERS FESTIVAL 2023

Get ready for the 26th edition of Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2023, promising an array of genre-bending programmes, unexpected combinations, and unlikely connections. Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL) and commissioned by the National Arts Council (NAC), SWF 2023 invites audiences to explore the unpredictable through innovative and mould-breaking programs, challenging the notion of what can come together harmoniously. Under the leadership of Festival Director Pooja Nansi, this edition emphasises on unconventional perspectives, forging unexpected links between topics and disciplines while maintaining its commitment to literary traditions and the signature SWF series.

Additionally, this year’s festival puts a special spotlight on Asian-American authors. Accessibility and inclusivity remain at the forefront, with a wheelchair-friendly festival ground, assistance dog-friendly spaces, sign language interpreters, and note-taking services available upon request across the diverse range of programs. SWF 2023 encourages audiences to engage with the literary arts in all their diverse and multilingual forms.
