ARTPODIUM and Art Magnum present an impressive artwork exhibition by prominent pioneers of India’s modern art movements. The show titled “Timeless Treasures” aims to showcase the vibrant aesthetics and artistic capabilities that emerged in the country as it transitioned from British colonial rule to become an independent modern nation.

As India grappled with its new status of a sovereign nation, these artists started a movement to develop their own language – a powerful combination of indigenous history and India’s rich cultural heritage. As the name suggests, the artwork on display is truly timeless and would appeal to all art fraternity sections.

Timeless Treasures is supported by the Indian High Commission in Singapore and will be part of the Singapore Art Week 2021’s exciting line-up from January 22-30.

The work on display is a never before seen eclectic artwork mix of different artistic mediums and expressions. The show has brought together over 50 artworks sourced from private collectors worldwide and some artists themselves. They include paintings, drawings, etchings and sculptures by modern masters and most of these works have either been published or authenticated by experts and are of known provenance.

ARTPODIUM, a Singapore-based online community established to promote the appreciation of visual arts and bring together art stakeholders to foster the growth of this medium within Singapore and beyond through diverse art collections, talented artists, and the rich history behind the art on display. The sponsors behind ARTPODIUM have more than 20 years of experience in dealing in art.

In September 2020, ARTPODIUM held their first 360° fully-immersive art exhibition Art. Access. Appreciation to showcase talented Asian artists. As such, Timeless Treasures will also be be assessable to both Singapore and worldwide audiences thorugh a virtual exhibition hosted on www.artpodium.com.sg.

Art Magnum is an art house dedicated to paying homage to established artists who have worked meticulously to put Indian art on the global scene and young and upcoming talented artists to nurture the future of Indian art.
