White Feather
Available online and at Sunshine Plaza (#01-24), White Feather retails jewellery handmade with quality materials like crystals, pearls, and semi-precious stones. We love these necklaces – they’ll jazz up any outfit – made with pink kunzite, amazonite, tanzanite in rose gold and aquamarine, amethyst, moonstone in yellow gold. More importantly, they’re donating 10% of their December proceeds to Love Kuching Project. Prices range from $23-$70.
Māobox
You’ve heard of subscriptions for beauty products, health snacks, and even booze. Now, there’s a subscription box for cat. Stuffed with feline snacks and toys, these keep the kitties entertained, be more adventurous with food, and there’s a new box to play with every other month! Prices start at $29 per box, $26 each for three, and $23 each for six, and Māobox has promised 10% of the sales from each box to Love Kuching Project. Plus, your cat is getting mail – or you’re sending mail to your pal’s cat – how cute is that?
Pets Actually
If you’re looking for presents for both humans and furkids, head to Pets Actually. From cute, quirky stuff like this cat or dog calendar with a tongue-in-cheek cartoon about the lives of pets and the people who love them to sleek, minimalist pet hideouts, they’ve got you covered. Pets Actually will also be donating part of their profits to Love Kuching Project this festive season.
Love Kuching Project
Donate directly to Love Kuching Project, or buy them an item off their wish list! The small shelter is entirely non-profit, staffed by volunteers who dedicate their time and love caring for our community cats. They take in and rescue as many as twenty cats a month; ranging from adult, injured feral cats to abandoned kittens found without their mothers.
Just in the last month, they rescued three helpess and hungry kittens and named them Kylo, Leia, and Kenobi. Alongside four other kitties, the Star Wars trio are healthy and happy today, and waiting for suitable adopters to bring them home. The shelter’s wishlist stretches from stainless steel pet bowls to a durable vacuum cleaner. Donate to their fundraiser, or directly via bank transfer to their account (DBS Current Account 027-905975-3). Make your donations in your loved ones’ names for an extra meaningly gift.
