Learn how you can make a difference and play an active role in driving a change in mindset and behaviour to live green, recycle and reduce our carbon footprint at Green Living 2015! Green Living 2015 is set to stage Singapore’s first sustainability and design show that focuses on meeting the needs of eco-conscious consumers and businesses as well as raising the awareness of adopting an ‘eco-lifestyle’ to the public. The show will feature an array of readily accessible green-friendly products available to both business and public consumers such as eco-appliances, machines and electronics, eco-interiors, smart home automation technologies and many more.
Green Living is fun! There is something for everyone in the family to do their part for a better tomorrow. Organized along the three pillars of modern living, ‘Live, Work & Play’ with various galleries and zones to showcase products and ideas, visitors to Green Living 2015 will be treated to a multi-sensorial event where they can learn how to live green in an interactive manner, participate in workshops and visit interesting exhibits of technology and ideas.
Some highlights that are not to be missed at Green Living 2015 are:
Singapore Green Story: Learn about Singapore’s initiatives and policies that lead to the nation’s success in achieving the triple bottom line sustainability. Hosted by various government agencies, this exhibit is designed in a fun, easy-to-grasp manner that will appeal to all.
Experience the inaugural BCA Green Office Pop-Up, an interactive ‘green office’ that offers green tips and benefits for office users, building owners and landlords. Visitors can grab a free cup of yoghurt at the roadshow, explore the different parts of the ‘office’ and discover how adopting green offices promote a more efficient workforce and a healthier lifestyle.
Be inspired at the Mumpreneur Corner and hear the stories from moms who have successfully established green businesses while balancing the duties of motherhood.
Adults and children can also enrol in a slew of other fun activities and workshops to start making a conscious choice to live green. Kids can learn how to upcycle unused products at home into something fancy and interact with the Nature Ambassador Duo, Morchoo and Titoy, to discover some tips in living green. Adults and parents can join the experts to learn how to start a ‘green’ diet and grow their very own urban garden. Also, learn how to ‘Grow Your Own Salad Bar’ from SG MicroGreens!
There is even a programme for the fashion forward, glam crowd. ‘Fashion with Conscience, from Day to Night’ fashion show is presented by Zhai Collection with models from Miss Earth Singapore 2015. Zhai is the first eco fashion brand in Singapore. Zhai carries a full collection of styles made from bamboo fibe and strives to be an environmentally responsible clothing brand which offers simple, classic and versatile pieces, without compromising on quality, style or affordability.
