Entertainer and artist; renowned saxophonist, flutist and composer; arranger, producer, and respected musician spanning more than 30 years, Johnny James, better known as “Dr. J” has appeared with top Rap, Hip-Hop and Jazz ensembles and many of today’s contemporary artists. An artist of integrity; skill; personality & honesty, he is held in high regard by some as the next Grover Washington of our time. With his own distinct blend of vocals, sax & flute, Johnny has just the right medicine to lift your spirit with his home brewed vibe & smooth funk grooves that take you on a moving celebration of life, love & music.
