A hospitality institution on the quiet fringes of the Orchard Road neighbourhood, Sheraton Towers Singapore’s Lobby Bar is noted for their wide array of wines, beers, liquors and delectable bar snacks. Have a lovely afternoon tea as you’re presented with an array of unique tea-time treats, from the sweets like the Lavender Chiboust and Lemon Verbena Ivoire, to the savoury Honey Ham & Onion Quiche.

Lobby Lounge, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

Spend your afternoons in the tranquility of Crowne Plaza’s Lobby Lounge. Currently offering their new floral-themed high tea wth coffee or gourmet Dilmah t-Series tea, diners can look forward to sweet treats such as the Lavender Honey Crème Brûlée and the Sunflower Praline Eclair – perfect for this spring season – alongside classic savouries like the Ham and Cheese Sandwich are also served. Plus, it’s so easy to pop over to Jewel Changi Airport for some post-meal retail therapy.

Tuxedo, Carlton Hotel

1-FOR-1 SELECTED PASTRIES AND CAKES

Most desserts are already visually-appealing, but Tuxedo Café & Pâtisserie takes it to a whole new level by injecting their distinctive style. Freshly handmade by their award-winning pastry team, indulge in signatures such as the Valrhorna chocolate-based Tuxedo Cake ($7++) or their take on the Red Velvet Cake ($9++). Rumah Rasa, Bay Hotel Singapore

1-FOR 1 DESSERTS

Amongst Asian desserts, Indonesian sweets are completely underrated in Singapore – only if because they are similar to what local dessert can mean in Singapore. At Rumah Rasa, savour the richness of traditional Indonesian desserts such as the Pisang Goreng ($6.90) or Bubur Ketan Hitam ($6.90), topped with vanilla ice-cream. Not forgetting Cendol ($6.90) of course, there’s nothing more perfect for our tropical climate.

Zafferano Italian Restaurant & Lounge

Situated at the top of Ocean Financial Centre, don’t be afraid to embrace the Singapore skyline as even the most picky of sweet tooth will find the selection of wonderfully plated desserts at Zafferano to their satisfaction, be it the mille-feuille ($18++) accompanied with mixed berries and pasty cream as featured above, or the alcoholic cioccolato – liquore di amaretto ($22). Pair your desserts and cheeses with Zafferano’s collection of sweet and port wines to fully luxuriate in the experience.

1-FOR-1 SATURDAY HIGH TEA BUFFET

Besides everyone’s favourite fresh seafood on ice, J65’s high tea buffet ($65++ per person) boasts an impressive assortment of local delicacies, so fill up on labour intensive dishes like Bak Kut Teh and Singapore Laksa alongside assorted sushi and fragrant roast chicken. Be sure to dip into their signature Chocolate Fondue for dessert.

Qi-House of Sichuan

1-FOR-1 SELECTED SOUP/DESSERT

Having earned a Michelin star in 2016, you won’t be surprised to learn that Qi dishes out piping hot and delicious carb-heavy desserts we all know and love like their their famous Red Bean Pancake ($9) and Golden Custard Buns ($8). Headed by master chef Wong Chun Fai, who delivers Sichuan dishes that carry Asian piquancy, the restaurant is also offering one-for-one soups – think classic Hot and Sour Soup ($10) – if you prefer something even more savoury.
