Small Batch Peated Whisky With Big Bold Flavours

From the fine casks of The GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside, Scotland, comes the new single malt whisky Meikle Tòir. Crafted in small batches entirely from scratch by Master Distiller Billy Walker, this latest release features four smoky expressions aged for five years to reveal their bold and peaty characteristics. The Original is a sweet, peaty single malt that carries the complexity of oak-smoked sugar, with hints of burnt honey and butterscotch on the nose. The Sherry One, finished in Sherry casks noses of cedarwood and orange peel, has hints of figs and burnt sugar on the palate. The Chinquapin One boasts the sweet scent of caramel and toffee and finishes with aniseed and black pepper flavours. The Turbo, the highest PPM concentration of 71% among the four, entices the nose with honey and burnt orange peels and leaves traces of honey and mocha trail on the palate, which mellows into smoked spices and charred oak.
