Served with two pots of artisanal tea by Monogram of your choice, the set is presented in a lovely two-tiered stand. Look forward to an array of delicious sandwiches – think Smoked SalmonRoast Beef, and Truffle Egg Mayo – as well as toothsome plain and raisin Buttermilk Scones accompanied by strawberry preserves, marmalade, and clotted cream. For an elegant afternoon respite under crystal chandeliers, The St. Regis Singapore is more than welcoming with Brasserie Les Saveurs’ signature Afternoon Tea (from S$48++ per person on weekdays). Expect a lavish spread ranging from savoury options like Asparagus Velouté with 65° Poached Egg and Parmesan Espuma and Grilled Unagi and Wakame Tea Sandwich, to pastries and sweets such as Citrus Madeleines and the St. Regis 70% Dark Chocolate Tart. Priced at S$70++ for two on weekdays and $$80++ on weekends, the menu items come bursting with flavour and are made for sharing – think Foie Gras Doughnuts, Beetroot Goat Cheese Mille-feuilleRed Velvet Lamington, and the signature raspberry W Macaroons. The Instagram moment here, of course, is when these fun culinary creations are served in a standing decorative silver birdcage. With blends like Jasmine Monkey King and flowers that bloom in your pot, prepare to be impressed.

Sip a soothing cup of tea with the picturesque Marina Bay in front of you, and watch the world go by from one of the highest hotel lobbies in Singapore. The Seafood Afternoon Tea (from S$45++ per person) at The Westin Singapore kicks off with a whole Lobster Thermidor. Savouries such as the Smoked Salmon Sandwich topped with salmon caviar and Crab Roll are followed by an assortment of house-made chocolates, petit cakes and tartlets including the Apricot Financier and Gula Melaka Soya Pudding. Parkview Square’s unique Art Deco style is the perfect view for a relaxing afternoon tea at ATLAS. Usually a prime spot for gin drinking, ATLAS switches up its menu with a delicious European style selection of sweet and savoury items including Goat Cheese Tarts, Lobster Crostini, Raspberry Financier and Banana Cream Pie for S$56++ per person. For an extra S$4++, try their luxurious Prestige tea selection, or splurge on the ATLAS Suite, a flight of three petite martinis for S$38.

The Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Singapore

The elegant Lobby Lounge beautifully encapsulates InterContinental Singapore’s modernity while still maintaining an alluring old-world charm. Set in the heart of the hotel, the sunlit space makes it ideal for enjoying its daily Classic Afternoon Tea: Tropical Paradise (from S$98++ for two) – a three-tiered showcase of exquisite tropics inspired treats.
