Proudly born and raised in the musical hotbed that is Philadelphia, DJ Cash Money (who is known to his mother as Jerome Hewlett) is a world-renowned turntablist, hip-hop artist and record producer who has been active since the late 80s. He impressed the world early on with his remarkable turntable skills and is credited with inventing and perfecting several scratch forms, including the famous transformer scratch that mimics the robotic sound effects from the cartoon series of the same name.
A close friend and rival to hip hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff, the pair spent their rise to fame DJing at parties together as ‘Kings of Spin’. Cash is also credited with creating the Pee Wee Herman scratch and establishing the Chirp scratch, but is also a producer of worldwide repute. He has released a number of albums in his time, but has also produced and remixed tracks for eminent artists such as Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Public Enemy.

The Bronx is a night inspired by New York’s music and culture. The jams of the night will take you on a tour of how Hip-hop culture originated and where it is at now. Expect anything from ol’skool tracks from Biggie, to newer tracks from A$AP Rocky. So what are you waiting for? Lace up that Adidas and come on down to shake dat booty with residents Koflow and DJ Rattle.
