The Fever is back! We’re getting down in a big way this month, so join us for all the serious funk and hip-hop you can handle.
Sat March 8th at Blu Jaz, 2nd Floor.
Come along and get your oldschool boogie on! If you like grooving to James Brown, Sugarhill Gang, Run-DMC, Rick James, Wu-Tang Clan, De La Soul, Cypress Hill, etc in a no-fuss, fun party atmosphere, this is the night for you.
We go a little deeper than your “ordinary” oldschool night. Covering the full spectrum of great funk and hip-hop, expect proper music from the 70s onward. The party classics you love, plus that secret dope stuff only The Fever DJs play!
***NO current radio music allowed! ***
***NOT the same old cheesy “oldschool” playlist you hear everywhere! ***
Hot wax from DJ D-Swift (AUS) (heard at Good Times/Chroam/Dapper/Pushin On/ DWNTWN SNDCLSH/Donuts etc) digging DEEP in the VINYL crates since the late 80s, check him out for that oldschool goodness you won’t hear anywhere else. Guaranteed.
Anand Mixxalott (SG/Cuba Libre) – one of SG’s most notorious party animals – dropping those non-stop sure-shot party bombs faster than you can duck for cover.
Check out Blu Jaz Cafe – cozy, fun, no-fuss atmosphere, with reasonable food & drink prices, a comfy smoking area, and no dress code.
Free entry b4 10:30. $5 after. 9:30 start.
