The Mill x WeJungle: DESTRUCTION & REBIRTH

The Mill and creative collective, WeJungle, embark on a Demolition Art initiative to celebrate beauty amidst chaos – through the charming old bones of an iconic building that has emerged as a creative symbol in a volatile world of creation and destruction.
Acknowledging the mutual co-existence and contradictions between the concepts – artists, musicians, designers, creators and innovators will come together over the course of three weekends at this soon-to-be-demolished building to tease out tensions, moments and scenes specifically within the space and frame between the two seemingly opposing forces.
This intervention explores the forces of creation, destruction and preservation in its dynamic and sometimes turbulent interaction, taking the Kabbalic notion of rhythm being the basis of life as the point of departure.
