The Revolution Will Not Be Televised

We’re celebrating the spoken word and the funkier side of things, complete with poetry beats, a full brass section and hip hop performances. Start your night with EleMental: a spoken word ensemble performance by acclaimed performance poets Marc Nair, Charlene Shepherdson, Marylyn Tan, and Allee Koh. Then catch homegrown stars L.A.B. with Michaela Therese, Benjamin Kheng and ShiGGa Shay, as well as headlining act, Lazy Habits, followed by an after party with Matteblacc on the decks.
Lazy Habits is an eclectic seven-piece group from Hackney, East London. We promise you will be blown away by their unique blend of slick lyrics with ’50s big band, New Orleans jazz and proto-funk; serving up a hip-hop sound that is anything but derivative. It’s their first and one night only show in Singapore. Don’t miss it!
