The Singapore Art Museum Celebrates Imagination and Discovery with Imaginarium: A Voyage of Big Ideas

Come set your imagination free with the fifth edition of Singapore Art Museum’s annual contemporary art exhibition for children! Titled Imaginarium: A Voyage of Big Ideas, the exhibition runs from 14 March to 19 July 2015 at SAM at 8Q. Imaginarium is the first in a series of SAM exhibitions that celebrates Singapore’s Jubilee Year. The exhibition is inspired by the crescent moon on the Singapore flag, symbolising a young nation on the rise and its capacity to dream big and think large. Particularly targeted at children, Imaginarium is both immersive and interactive.
Imaginarium will feature a total of seven emerging and established artists from Singapore and the region, presenting seven fresh new artwork commissions. Participating artists include Japanese artist Takashi Kuribayashi, Singapore artist Chiang Yu Xiang, Singapore collective Band of Doodlers, Singaporean artist Izziyana Suhaimi, Canadian-born, Singapore-based artist Vincent Twardzik, South Korean artist Jeeyoung Lee and Sri Lankan-born, Vietnam-based artist Kumkum Fernando.
This event is running from Saturday, 14 March to Sunday, 19 July at the Singapore Art Museum.
