As we roll into July, so have a bunch of freshly launched epicurean delights. This week, we have a exquisite weekend brunch experience, cool craft beers, treats in town for the weary shopper, and a promising new wine e-shop.
Keyaki’s Okonomi Weekend Brunch
Keyaki’s Weekend Brunch Spread
Kick off your weekend in high spirits with Keyaki‘s Okonomi Weekend Brunch. Deriving its name from the Japanese term for ‘as you like it’, it’s evident from the impressive menu that the folks at Keyaki take the philosophy seriously with five options per course for this eight-course weekend brunch! Imagine choosing between dishes like unagi omelette and seared beef with ponzu sauce for your amuse bouche, or battered soft shell crab and deep fried sweet corn for the hearty agemono course. As for the tipples, we highly recommend the Mio Sparkling Sake – at 0.5% ABV, it’s really all you can drink.
Priced at $135++ per adult (inclusive of unlimited sparkling sake, Laurent Perrier champagne, sparkling shochu, umeshu soda, and Tiger beer) and $75++ for guests aged below 18 years old, Keyaki’s Okonomi Brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday, 11:30am – 2:30pm.
Wildfire Presents Fujizakura Heights Craft Beer
The Fujizakura Heights Craft Beer Range at Wildfire
We know burgers and beer go hand in hand but Wildfire is taking that to the next level with their Fujizakura Heights craft beer promo! For $38, you can experience 5 bottles from this award-winning range, which hails from the Yamanashi, a Japan-based brewery. Fresh spring waters from Mount Fuji go into the making of these German-style smoky rauch beers, so you get the best of both worlds with your trip to this burger joint.
The Great KUVO GSS
We don’t know how great the deals are this Great Singapore Sale, but there’s a great promotion going on at KUVO, a multi-concept dining establishment located in the heart of Orchard Road. Expect a sumptuous spread of salads, appetisers, and deserts from Ambrosia Restaurant’s semi-buffet lunch ($30++) or dinner ($45++). In the mood for cocktails? Chief Mixologist Yutaka Nakashima will whip up a customised cocktail for you at $15++ once you like both KUVO’s Facebook Page and Omakase Special post – either way, a visit here will surely perk you up for another day of shopping.
