Summer Delights at Chihuly Lounge
The new lunch experience at Chihuly Lounge.
Whether you’re after a sophisticated lunch venue or delectable afternoon tea, put Chihuly Lounge on your list. We’re all about the new lunch menu’s miso gratinated salmon and the whirl of colours in the afternoon tea’s kaleidoscopic selection of canapés like seared tuna with zucchini caponata and citrus cheesecake. Looking for after work drinks? Their selection of classic cocktails like Long Island Iced Tea and the Singapore Sling will be sure to hit the spot.
Edge’s Revamped Menu
Indulge in the best of marine offerings at Edge! The buffet restaurant’s signature ‘live’ stations are ready to take you on an epicurean journey across the seas. Visit the picturesque coasts of South America with each bite of sapid Seafood Ceviche, or embrace the offerings of the East with steamed prawns drunk on Chinese wine. With creamy salted egg yolk crab and aromatic Fish Head Curry on offer, it’s good to know that Edge isn’t neglecting Singapore’s rich culinary heritage either.
The Herbal 6 at Min Jiang
Min Jiang’s 6 Herbal Soups
Can’t get enough of herbal soup, or just don’t have time to double-boil your own? We have good news – from 25 May to 26 July 2015, Min Jiang will have 3 pairs of double boiled soups on rotation. Beginning with Double Boiled Duck Soup with ‘Ching Bo Leung’ and Double Boiled Snakehead Fish Soup, the ingredients of all 6 broths were carefully curated by Master Chef Chan to ensure the intricate balance of yin and yang in all concoctions, so that gets a thumbs up from us.
Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with Shangri-La’s Rice Dumplings
Cancel your carb-curbing plans because Shangri-La is back with a unique array of rice dumplings. In celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival as well as SG50, Shangri-La is launching the Pandan Chicken Rice Dumpling, the Chinese Angelica and Huai Shan Duck Meat Rice Dumpling, and the Four Treasures Vegetarian Rice Dumpling. All we can say is we can’t wait till 1 June 2015 to get hold of these heavenly treats!
New Flavours at Honey Crème
Pandan Gula Melaka soft serve
If you’ve yet to grown tired of the soft serve ice cream trend, it’s worth popping by Honey Crème for their new, locally-inspired flavours like Teh C, Alishan Milk Tea, Gah Dai, and Pandan Gula Melaka. We’ve also grown fond of the Honey Crème Cereal Milk variation, which is topped with sweet cornflake crunch and makes us nostalgic for childhood flavours.
