From decadent white truffles to hairy crab feasts, there’s plenty of autumnal delights to fill our plates this week. As for the drinks, raise a toast to local flavours with Nutmeg & Clove’s menu refresh, and round off with dark, silky beers from a S’pore-Hong Kong colla-brew-ation.
Native & Young Master Ales Launch Thick Skin
Amoy Street bar Native has earned quite the reputation for funky tipples featuring foraged ingredients, and you’ll find more of the same genius in its latest collab with Hong Kong’s Young Master Ales. Brewed with cacao husks and cascara skins typically discarded as waste, Thick Skin is a creamy stout boasting rich notes of earthy chocolate and tinges of dark fruit. Sessionable and sustainable, you’ll have downed a few pints of this liquid dessert before you know it.
Thick Skin is now available on the Young Master Ales online store.
